I was invited to give workshops at the 8th International Conference ”Theatre/Drama and Performing Arts in Education: Utopia or Necessity?” in Athens. My workshop was based on the story of Theseus and the Minotaur.
I also was the Co-ordinator for a working group on Theatre, Drama and Formal Education.
In November 2019, I gave a speech and workshops at a Drama for Learning Conference in Oviedo, Spain.
My speech was about how Drama Strategies support Thinking, Inter-thinking and Talk.
My drama workshop was based on The Tunnel by Anthony Browne.
I gave a speech and led workshops in Ankara, on ‘The Incomers’, using art work from picture books by Armin Greder and Shaun Tan. I also used the poem, ‘Home’ by Warsan Shire.
I will be returning to Turkey to lead workshops in Eskihisar in April 2019 and in Adana in October 2019.
