I was invited by Drama Australia and Drama New Zealand to give a presentation and workshop at their ‘Gamechanger’ Conference in July 2015. I enjoyed every minute of it. It was a great conference, with some inspirational people presenting. I spoke about ‘Drama as Embodied Cognition’ and gave a drama/theatre practical workshop to exemplify this. I also was on an international panel, considering the position of Drama in different countries in the world. I was also on a Keynote Panel that was played as a game, based on the film, ‘Labyrinth’. We set out on an imaginary journey, describing and sharing our ‘weaponry’, as we continue to fight across the world for drama’s rightful place in the curriculum.
